Lightsource Renewable Energy
Solar Power Purchase Agreement (Solar PPA)
Commercial and Schools
There is a better way to provide businesses with low cost electricity while contributing to a cleaner environment for us all to live in. This is why the Lightsource Solar PPA is such a great solution for businesses. Lightsource guarantees the electricity production of their systems to their customers so they can have peace of mind that the system will deliver low cost electricity for them in the long term.
The electricity price you pay under the Solar PPA is far less than the current market rate from your utility. A comparison of the published prices charged by Smartest Energy Ltd (incl. RO and CCL contributions) show that a half hourly metered customer would typically pay – the total price is 10.7p versus 5.0p under the Solar PPA.
- Switch today with no upfront or ongoing maintenance costs
- Lightsource will install, own and maintain the system on your roof for free, and you will only pay for the electricity that you use each month at a rate of 5.0p/kWh increasing annually with RPI
- The Solar PPA works is parallel with your existing electricity supply
- The Solar PPA term is 20 years; Lightsource guarantees to remove the system from your roof after this period or you can consider an extension.
