Rated Solar Installer bespoke monitoring solution is designed having in mind the installer who wants to monitor his entire portfolio of installations, but also the PV system owner who wants to check in real time the performance and cost effectiveness of his system.
How It Works
The monitoring system is consisted by two parts, a generation meter with an embedded GPRS/3G modem and a cloud application. The Cloud application interrogates 30 minutes meter readings from the generation smart meter and store them in RSI database for 25 years. The data are processed in real time, combined with satellite irradiance data and the system creates Key Performace Indicators (KPIs) like Performance Ratio and Availability. We use these KPIs to benchmark the installations across the country but in parallel we produce alarms when we identify an abnormal system behavior.
Through our web and mobile apps we provide real time visualization of the system’s performance to the installers but also to the home owners. On top of this we provide a cost analysis according to the occasional FiT and electricity tariffs.
